Step aboard the charming Rediscover Dunwoody Trolley Tour and embark on a journey through our vibrant city. Join us every second Thursday of the month in 2024 for our signature tours. With three different routes each month—Perimeter Center, The Village Dunwoody, and Jett Ferry—each tour promises a fresh experience. Our program is designed for frontline hoteliers eager to deepen their local expertise. Through popularity with social media, our tours have blossomed into inclusive excursions, welcoming city council members, influencers, bloggers, realtors, and all seeking to uncover Dunwoody's hidden treasures.

At the heart of our mission lies the desire to fuel economic growth across Dunwoody, championing hotels, restaurants, shops, and attractions. Together, let's embark on a voyage of discovery and community enrichment.

Route 1: Perimeter Center

Dates: July 11, October 10

Embark on a flavorful journey starting at the renowned Louisiana Bistreaux, where the alluring scents of Cajun cuisine await. Our knowledgeable guide highlights landmarks like the Crowne Plaza, Perimeter Mall, High Street and MARTA along the way, broadening the experience with local insights. Next, venture to Ashford Lane, the latest activation space in Dunwoody for holiday festivities, cultural experiences, and kid-friendly events. Savor margarita samples and appetizers at HOBNOB Neighborhood Tavern, led by HOBNOB Executive Director of Events, Jason Storm.

Immerse yourself in the vibrant art scene at Spruill Gallery, guided by Gallery Director Shannon Morris. Finally, our tour concludes at Eclipse di Luna at Park Place, where guests are welcomed to enjoy tapas, libations, and a peek at the vibrant nightlife. With hearts and bellies full, this one-of-a-kind journey fosters lasting connections and memories, leaving guests with a newfound appreciation for Dunwoody's offerings.

Route 2: The Village Dunwoody

Dates: May 9, August 8, November 14

Step aboard the Discover Dunwoody Trolley Tour for an exciting journey through the Dunwoody local favorites, starting with The Village Dunwoody. A revitalized restaurant and shopping center with some of the best bites and hangout vibes in the area. Departing from Discover Dunwoody, our experienced guide will lead you through iconic landmarks like the Spruill Gallery, Fogo de Chao, and NFA Burger, offering intriguing insights along the way.

Our final destination, The Village Dunwoody, offers a plethora of local favorites like Bar{n}, Morty’s Meat & Supply, and Message in a Bottle. As we conclude the tour, the guide usually highlights other popular attractions such as the Stage Door Theatre, Spruill Center for the Arts, and Dunwoody Public Library, ensuring an unforgettable exploration of Dunwoody's vibrant offerings.

Route 3: Jett Ferry

Dates: June 13, September 12, December 12

Embark on a captivating trolley tour of Dunwoody's highlights, beginning at Williamsburg, a charming shopping and dining hub. During the tour, your guide will highlight that we're tracing the path of Dunwoody's famous 4th of July parade, a beloved tradition embodying the community's unity and the biggest Independence Day parade in Georgia. Our first stop is E. 48th Street Market for a taste of authentic Italian delights and recommendations from the owner, Charli Augello.

Following that, the group will head to a nearby locally owned spa and wellness boutique, such as FaceHaven or Icebox Cryotherapy, where they can enjoy samples and gather information. As we pass by the Marcus Jewish Community Center of Atlanta (MJCCA), the guide will point out how the center is one of the best resources in the area for events, children's programs, and so much more.

Next, venture into Brook Run Park's sprawling 110-acre oasis, bustling with activities like ziplining, dog parks, and farmers’ markets. Continuing our journey, we'll explore Georgetown Shopping Center, home to Vino Venue and other local favorites like Takorea and Farmburger. At Vino Venue, you’ll enjoy a taste of wine, snacks, and discover the backstory behind Vino Venue's distinctive blend of restaurant, market, and cooking classes.

We conclude the tour with the historic Donaldson-Bannister Farm, where Director of Private and Special Events, Dorloes Lauderdale shares insights into the property's storied past, offering a glimpse into Dunwoody's rich cultural tapestry. Also, home to many events in Dunwoody including farm to table dinner, tea parties, yoga and movies on the lawn.
