A Film Company with a Family Story
The name Taylormade has a personal meaning for Bridget and Tony Charles. Their production company is named after their daughter, Taylor, whose experience at an acting and theater camp helped inspire the family's next chapter.
Tony, a filmmaker with years of industry experience, founded Taylormade Film Company in 2017. Bridget now serves as Chief Operating Officer, following a career in technology that included more than 15 years working at T-Mobile's Dunwoody location.
In the interview, Bridget shares how Taylor's enthusiasm for theater and film helped shape the company, along with the values that guide which stories the family chooses to tell.
Why Film in Dunwoody?
For Bridget, Dunwoody has been home for more than 20 years. Those connections have carried into the family's filmmaking, from familiar locations to businesses willing to help a production come together.
She describes welcoming local venues and hotel spaces used for boardroom scenes. The relationships extend beyond what appears on camera, too.
During one production, an initial cast of about 20 became a project involving roughly 100 cast and crew members. Bridget recalls restaurant partners adjusting catering orders on short notice to help keep everyone fed. She mentions Maggiano's and Olive Garden among the restaurants the company has worked with.
Her experience offers a look at the local partnerships behind a film set, including the meals, spaces and people that keep a production moving.
The Inspiration Behind The Jersey
Bridget also discusses The Jersey, an upcoming independent feature from Taylormade Film Company. At the time of the interview, the film was in post-production and its first trailer had been released.
The story uses a conversation about a Haitian national team jersey to explore history, heritage, identity and the meaning people attach to symbols. Bridget explains why the subject matters to Tony and how the project has opened conversations among the people involved.
She also points to a connection closer to home: Savannah's Haitian Monument in Franklin Square, which honors volunteers from present-day Haiti who fought in the American Revolution.

Two other Taylormade projects discussed in the interview are already available to watch. Bridget highlights Office Secrets and The Friendship Vow as productions filmed in Dunwoody, noting that The Friendship Vow was filmed entirely in the city.
